0 Wildflowers Photography - Capturing Personal Moments

Saturday, February 18, 2012
Photography has been one of my largest interests either than Art, Archie, Films and Food ;D. In a way it's the line of art that brings it all together in one shot. Simple yet amazing if you think about it.

While I was browsing wallpapers of the movie Up, I stumbled on these beautiful photographs by Wildflowers Photography. And yup, I'm going to gladly brag about how great these shots are. :D

The tone, colours, composition and most of all the natural moments and smiles are just simply amazing. Makes me want to do something like this for family photos in the future.

In the end, it is true indeed that moments are priceless.

0 Tie Dye Mania With Kami Idea.

Hi everyone, welcome to another Creativity Spotlight post.

Hope you all enjoy this one ^^.

Tie dye is an art that has been around for quite some time. It was actually very popular during the 1960's or the hey day of the flower generation. Also known as one of the key features of African-Asian art and its bright colourful designs, tie dye has captivated many people's hearts for pretty much a long, long time.

Here, in Indonesia, tie dye is once again trending especially in the Islamic fashion scene. I am a sucker when it comes to colour but on the contrary, I'm pretty picky when it comes to buying tie dye. This is because on the whole, I'm pretty safe when it comes to my wardrobe. I like to keep things simple, classy and a bit of edge without being too flashy. Sometimes, certain tie dye patterns are just way too bright or flashy for my taste though in general they can brighten up any simple outfit.

A few months ago, I came across Kami Idea, a local brand specialising in tie dye. They sell shawls, shirts, dresses, jumpsuits, and cardigans. For me, it was the shawls that stole my heart. I just love their colourful yet subtle designs. The composition of colours is just right. Not too plain, not too flashy. It's 'tie dye' enough to freshen up your look and it doesn't make you look like a hippie (no offense to hippies though, just disapprove of the whole weed and LSD thing going on there). ;)
Either than the colours, the material of the shawl is very nice and comfortable too, soft and breezy. Very suitable for the our tropical climate.

Since the first shawls that I bought, I've never looked back or tried another brand for buying tie dye. Honestly, I still can't get enough of their shawls and still want more ;P

Here's a snippet of my wishlist:

Flamingo

Bubble Gum

Clouds

Sunset
Aren't the colours really nice? :)

Loyalty Brings an Unexpected Surprise.
And lastly, recently I won a special gift from Kami Idea's Twitter giveaway for being their loyal fan  :D.
The special edition shawl, hijab inner and Moshaict magazine have been very useful to me.

The awesome package.
Heart my new shawl <3
Pretty much my daily look these days. My favourite tie dye shawl is the colour Freeze. ^^y

Thank you so much Kami Idea.
Wishing all the best for your success in the future.
Will be always looking forward to your designs.:)
